Shooting A to Z
A while back, my assistant Heather Amszi and I had a fun idea: to create a shoot for every letter from A to Z. We brainstormed concepts for each letter, planning out props, lighting, and staging. Life got incredibly busy, and I never shared it—until now! Here it is!
Happy Thanksgiving

Farmer’s Market SoCal Winter
What would you make with a pile of greens, microgreens, grapefruit, and pomegranates? I decided to make a delicious salad with a lime vinaigrette.
Props and Surfaces
New! Tons of surfaces and props added to the prop and surface libraries in my studio. Check out this fun Caribbean test.
On The Cover of Edible East Bay Magazine Winter 2024
It’s not uncommon for a photo shoot to produce a spectacular photo that simply finds no place in the issue. That was the case for photographer Judy Doherty’s still life on our cover, which was left over from our Winter 2021-22 issue’s feature on olio nuovo. We’re pleased to welcome her back. See more of her work at judydohertyphotography.com.

Octonuts Tasty Fun
We had a ball working with the Octonuts marketing team to create a photo library of their CPG brand and products using food photography and package photography. Their ideas for single ingredient, maximum flavor, fun, and tasty was very easy to articulate visually. We worked on a creative deck together to plan stop motion and still images with their products, flavor cues, and bright colors. Here are a few favorites.
